Runner hopes to be Cambodia’s first female Olympic marathoner

Nine years ago, Nary Ly, became the first Cambodian woman to compete in an international distance event by running in a half marathon at Angkor Wat.

She has been running ever since and is now hoping to represent Cambodia at the 2016 Rio Olympic games.

Nary has overcome many obstacles in her life and sees marathon running as another challenge to overcome.
