Chin women in Myanmar show what could possibly be the last tattoos of their kind on their face.

The tattoos are now banned in the country and the origin and meaning of the facial tattoos is not known for certain. It’s thought that by the time they were banned they were seen as a symbol of coming-of-age and beauty.
