Solar engineering training for Fiji’s women
Rosy Akbar, Fiji’s Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, recently confirmed new training opportunities for the women of Fiji.
In partnership with Barefoot College in Rajasthan, India, women will soon have the chance to be trained as solar engineers.
Since 2008, the college has trained more than 754 women around the world in solar engineering.
