Public Perceptions of Women’s Political Leadership in Timor-Leste
This report outlines the findings of a study investigating public perceptions of political leadership and of women as political leaders in Timor-Leste in 2018-19. The research was part of a broader study also taking place in Cambodia and Solomon Islands and building on previous work conducted in Fiji. The purpose of the study was to deepen understanding of public perceptions of political leadership and of the gender norms associated with these perceptions.
