Report on ending violence against women in Timor-Leste released
A report by The Asia Foundation’s Nabilan Program and funded by the Australian Government has been released.
The report, Understanding Violence against Women and Children in Timor-Leste: Findings from the Nabilan Baseline Study combined research from men and women to better understand experiences of violence.
The study has shown there is a need to address gender inequality and the tolerance of violence in Timor-Leste society.
