Fiji Young Women’s Forum Workshop

A capacity building workshop examining the ‘Role of Fiji Parliament and Local Government’ was recently hosted by Funding Leadership and Opportunities for Women program partners Fiji Young Women’s Forum and supported by FemLINKPACIFIC and the Emerging Young Leaders Forum Alumni, among other local civil society organisations.

More than 60 women from all over Fiji participated in the workshop, which addressed the importance of women’s political participation and discussed strategies to increase the visibility and representation of women in Parliament.
