Diverse Voices and Action for Equality

Diverse Voices and Action for Equality (DIVA) are a feminist Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (LBT) collective, working on issues of human rights and social justice, including sexual reproductive and health rights, ecological justice and feminist social organising. Founded in 2011, DIVA emerged out of south-to-south feminist and lesbian activism, with strong links to local and global women’s, youth, human rights, ecological, climate justice, trade justice, sustainable development and peacebuilding alliances and coalitions.

Diverse Voices and Action for Equality AND IWDA

IWDA began a formal working partnership with DiVA in 2015 through the We Rise Coalition. Building trust and relationships that are transparent, respectful and feminist, with both DiVA and the organisations, networks and allies they work with, are of particular importance to DiVA. The partnership has been strong, and is continuing to grow over time.
