The Women of WAVE: In Photos

27.09.16

WAVE is a ground-breaking women’s leadership program that brings together and supports individual women, organisations, and movements in Asia and the Pacific region to increase the representation of women in diverse leadership positions.

This is what a group of diverse, visionary feminists looks like.

IWDA’s ‘Women’s Action for Voice and Empowerment (WAVE)’ program is a five-year collaboration of 15 women’s organisations across five countries. WAVE is a movement to amplify women’s voices, put more women in positions of power and increase women’s roles in decision making.

It will engage up to one million individuals and groups across the region to learn, monitor progress on achieving women’s rights and hold governments to account.

These are just some of the amazing women we’ll be working with to make women safer, more involved in decision making, and economically empowered.
