The two new financial products targeted to women

Two new online investment firms are introducing products offering financial and investment advice specifically targeted towards women.

Amanda Steinberg, founder of DailyWorth, says she aims to help women gain control over their futures and build net worth. According to Steinberg, this gendered focus isn’t because women need extra help, but a response to a dialogue with her 1.2 million female subscribers.

Because women face unique challenges in the workforce, including generally earning less than men for the same work, Sallie Krawcheck, a former Wall Street executive, believes that women have less room for error when it comes to finance.
