Stronger work-family policies help women entrepreneurs build better businesses


Policymakers have shown us that government spending on childcare and prioritisation on work-family balance aids women’s employment. These same policies can increase women’s engagement in entrepreneurship. When women have access to paid leave or subsidised childcare, the likelihood of starting a venture focused on economic growth increases.

These policies are instrumental in lowering the amount of women vulnerable to financial instability.
