In 2018, a landmark intersectional human rights festival was run in Hong Kong to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Surrounded by incredible trans advocates from the Pacific, disability advocates from the Middle East, and gender diverse young people from Asia, the above quote stood out.
