New initiative to help women reach their full potential
Getting more Solomon Islands women into jobs at all levels, helping them to stay employed, be safe at work, and reach their full potential is the aim of a new development initiative.
The program will support businesses in their recruiting of women, and their promotion as employees, leaders and partners, including in non-traditional roles. Building on a similar partnership with the Papua New Guinea Business Coalition for Women, the Australian Government is joining with the International Finance Corporation in the four year, $2.3 million program.
