IWDA at BOFA Film Festival

30.10.15

This year, IWDA is partnering up with BOFA in Launceston, Tasmania to present The Big Picture Discussion, ‘The Ethics – and Effectiveness – of Aid to Developing Countries’.

We will be premiering our short documentary, Dance Selina, which follows a young Fijian woman leader as she leads the next generation of girls in an effort to address gender inequality.

Following the screening will be The Big Picture Discussion. A distinguished panel will debate on ‘The Ethics – and Effectiveness – of Aid to Developing Countries’, and will include the Producer of Dance Selina, Rebecca Barry, the Dutch Ambassador to Australia, Her Excellency Ms. Annemieke Ruigrok, Gina Olivieri representing the Campaign for Australian Aid, and IWDA CEO Joanna Hayter. The panel will be moderated by Paul Barclay.
