Information sharing to benefit Myanmar’s women garment workers
A programme to increase social outreach projects for women workers in the garment industry in Myanmar has been funded by the European Union.
The Smart Myanmar project arranged trips to women’s centres in Bangladesh to encourage information sharing and to help find new ideas for social outreach and education projects that could be put into action in Myanmar.
