Gender Policy workshop held in Fiji to address increase in violence
A National Gender Policy Implementation Workshop was recently held in Fiji to help address the rise in violence against women and children in Fiji.
At the workshop Minister for Women Rosy Akbar said:
“Gender equality is not just about women but also about recognizing the historical discrimination and disadvantage women have experienced.”
