Gender policy in Fiji
Senior officials met in Suva recently to discuss the best ways to implement the Fijian government’s National Gender Policy.
According to Dr Joseva Koroivueta, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, all government ministries were mandated to take positive action towards achieving gender parity and tangible outcomes aligned with the policy.
“There are certainly some innovative ideas we can use to identify enablers and blockers of change,” Dr Koroivueta said.
