Fiji’s first ever gender empowerment forum
For the first time, Fiji’s politicians have participated in a gender empowerment forum.
The two-day forum held in Fiji last month looked at the links between gender equality and violence against women, and devised effective strategies for the implementation of the National Gender Policy.
As a part of the Policy Dialogue Forum organised by the Ministry of Women, 28 members of parliament were in attendance.
