Fijian Government funds projects for women
A short summary of projects supporting women receiving Fijian Government funding:
- $1 million to implement the National Gender Policy
- $200,000 to the Fiji Women’s Federation
- $200,000 to not for profit organisation to advance the interests of women and children
- $500,000 for the Fiji National Women’s Expo
- $170,000 for the establishment of a Domestic Violence Helpline
- $200,000 for the Women in Policing Network to improve working conditions for women
