Fiji and Solomon Islands to work together on gender and protecting women during disasters

A meeting in Suva, Fiji between representatives from Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu has led to a regional support network being formed.

The network will work on gender protection issues and aims to raise awareness of gender protection before during and after natural disasters.
