Craft show supports single mothers in Fiji
A craft show and family day held at the Western Housing Assistance and Relief Trust (HART) will help women earn money by selling creative work .
Mereani Camailakeba organised the event and said it will benefit women who need support.
“We mostly have single mothers staying in the HART Homes and most of them are still struggling. Therefore, events as such are good as they can sell their art work and earn a few dollars for themselves,” Ms Camailakeba said.
Fourteen stalls will sell work by women from Rakiraki, Ba, Nadi and Lautoka.
