CEOs and the gender wage gap
A year after the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) launched its pioneering campaign entitled In Your Hands, a growing number of CEOs are taking action to understand and correct pay imbalances between women and men.
This increase reflects not only a rise in understanding of gender gaps within the workplace, but the expectation of organisations to thoroughly and effectively address them.
“We look forward to more leaders measuring and taking responsibility for addressing their organisation-wide pay gender gap – the ultimate gender equality performance metric,” said Louise McSorely, Acting Director of WGEA.
