After a three-month skills development training programme supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Chitrakali Budhamagar was able to secure a loan to start her own weaving business and utilise her newly learned skills to make a living.

She has since become a respected business leader and motivator for other women, providing training to hundreds and employing 12 females from rural villages.

This program has helped an estimated 600,000 Nepalese entrepreneurs (68% of them women) to enhance their careers and lift themselves out of poverty.
