Australian women are more likely to retire into poverty than men

According to ANZ Women’s alarming report, ‘Barriers to Achieving Gender Equity’, women working full-time will earn an average of $700,000 less than men over a typical 45-year career.

ANZ Global Wealth chief executive Joyce Phillips calls for government and the business sector to address the inequalities that exist for women within the workplace, which leave them at a greater risk of retiring into poverty.
