Addressing gender-based violence against women and girls in Solomon Islands
With support from UN Women in Honiara, Solomon Islands, the Family Support Organisation (FSO) is running information sessions in order to increase knowledge of the impacts of violence against women on families and communities.
FSO is a newly established organisation that not only aims to raise awareness of gender-based issues, human rights, and legal services, but also provides support to women and girls in the Solomon Islands that are affected by domestic violence.
