Rural Solomon Islands training centre prioritises gender balance

A rural training centre in Malaita in the Solomon Islands is looking to balance the gender ratio for enrolled students.

According to School Principal David Leliana, the centre has always enrolled more boys than girls, but now actively encourages girls to enter the centre and offers female-oriented life skills courses.
