UN HRC adopts three resolutions to advance gender equality

This year, the annual resolution on Accelerating Efforts to Eliminate all Forms of Violence Against Women focussed on eliminating domestic violence for the first time. Three new resolutions to advance gender equality, empowerment and human rights of women and rights were adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council.
