Tasmanian government boards and committees have five years to become 50% female

Tasmanian Minister for Women Jacquie Petrusma has released a Five-Year Plan for Improving Gender Equality, outlining actions to meet a strict new gender target by July 2020. This aims to increase the number of women on government boards and committees from 34% to 50%.
