Sensitising Legislators

Earlier this year, 63 parliamentarians convened for the Pacific Women’s Parliamentary Forum to participate in discussions on the theme of gender-based violence.

“The Forum recongised the need for legislators to receive training to sensitise them to the scope, causes and effects of family violence, and encourage men and women legislators to work together to pursue legislative reform”
