Samoa appoints first permanent female Supreme Court Judge

Mata Tuatagaloa has recently been sworn in as Judge of the Supreme Court in Samoa. Ms Tuatagaloa is the first woman in the country to be appointed this position on a permanent basis.

Justice Ida Malosi became the first female Samoan and Pacific Islander in the Supreme Court while working in Samoa temporarily in 2013.
