Prime Minister Bainimarama on the economic empowerment of women in Fiji

In a recent speech, the Fijian prime minister acknowledged the evolving roles of women in society and the importance of cultural change and economic empowerment in addressing violence against women.

“We cannot build the kind of modern, competitive economy we want without harnessing the energy, ambition and talent of women.”
