Pacific women take on Rio Olympics

Pacific women have taken on the world’s best at the Rio Olympic games.

Some highlights from the games so far:

•Weightlifter Jenlyn Wini, Solomon Islands finished 15th after lifting 188kg.
•Swimmer Matelita Buadromo from Fiji finished 40th in the women’s 200m freestyle heats in a time of 2.05.49
•Fijian women’s sevens team finished eighth after losing 21-0 against Spain in their final match.
