New Victorian school curriculum includes compulsory education on domestic violence prevention
From 2016, all Victorian students at government schools will be educated on domestic violence prevention.
A change in the state curriculum will see the inclusion of respectful relationships education, and focus on changing attitudes and behaviours that can lead to violence against women.
