How does matched funding work?

A community of matched givers made up of significant supporters of International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) have joined together and offered to double match each donation made to IWDA on Thursday 27 June up to a combined total of $158,500. This means that all eligible donations to IWDA on Thursday 27 June will be doubled, maximising your impact by further empowering diverse women and girls across Asia and the Pacific.

Terms and conditions

1. Donations made online will be double matched on Thursday 27 June up to a combined total of $158,500. 
2. Eligible donations can be made online via the IWDA website at any time during the matching period or by phoning our Supporter Care team on 1300 661 812 between 9AM and 5PM AEST. 
3. Only donations made through IWDA’s website (www.iwda.org.au) or by phoning IWDA’s supporter care team will be matched. Donations received by mail or via other giving will not be matched.  
4. IWDA matched giving supporters have agreed to double match the amount raised up to $158,500. Any additional donations received in this time will be used to fund IWDA’s vital work. 
5. This matched giving offer may be extended if IWDA does not reach their fundraising target on Thursday 27 June 2024 or if another generous supporter would like to contribute to the matched giving amount.
