Leading Responses to Violence in PNG

As a result of IWDA’s Funding Leadership and Opportunities for Women program, 23 Women Human Rights Defenders in the Eastern Highlands Provinces and are actively addressing violence against women in Papua New Guinea. An additional 24 women have been elected as Executives of Women Human Rights Defenders in Bougainville. This is a significant achievement of IWDA’s FLOW program.
