Inclusive Solutions

Engaging a diverse range of stakeholders in consultations on inclusive solutions for growth is an important consideration in the development of equitable policies. IWDA’s Funding Leadership and Opportunities for Women program recognises the value of women’s contribution to the political conversation around issues that extend beyond the realm of exclusively ‘women’s issues’ and promotes women’s leadership so that everyone’s voices can be heard.

Too often women are overlooked when addressing global development concerns such as trade, economic growth and climate change. Narrow perspectives on global issues render women invisible and perpetuate the institutionalisation of inequity in public policy. Global issues affect everyone, and inclusive solutions should be developed to account for this.
