Executive Director of the National Committee for UN Women, Julie McKay will be discussing the importance of gender equality for economic and social development. She will share experiences from UN Women’s work around the world that demonstrate how equality can be achieved through combination of economic and social policy and the risks associated with not investing in these types of policies.
