Advancing gender equality and women’s leadership in the Pacific
A panel discussing the advancement of gender equality and women’s leadership was held at the Fiji National University’s lecture theatre last week. The panel provided an opportunity for high-level leaders and stakeholders to discuss how women can achieve full political and social participation, as well as involvement in the economic development of their communities.
The collaboration between Graduate Women’s International (GWI) and the Fiji Association of Graduate Women (FAWG) will increase the impact on girl’s education and gender equality in the region, said FAWG President, Dr Zakia Ali-Chand.
