The Common Experience of Violence is a Crisis

There are more women in Fiji who have experienced violence than women who have not. A panel discussion was held in Fiji earlier this month to review responses to violence and develop innovative approaches to address the social, cultural, and systemic factors that contribute to the severe rates of violence against women in the region. IWDA Funding Leadership and Opportunities for Women program partner Fiji Women’s Rights Movement joined the discussion, with FLOW program participant, G.I.R.L.S graduate Lolene Tuiqala, contributing to the panel.
