Leaders share approaches to tackling violence against women in Papua New Guinea

Insights from the people tackling the violence against women in Papua New Guinea were shared at recent Lowy Institute events in Canberra and Sydney.

The events were held in partnership with The Development Policy Centre.

Many Pacific countries are looking for solutions to the issue.

New approaches being tried by the Papua New Guinea Government were shared.

Leaders from Government and the civil and private sectors shared examples of the work being done to tackle the challenges faced in Papua New Guinea.
