Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Prevention Course

This course presents an evidence-based public health and life-course approach to preventing intimate partner and sexual violence against women. It provides an overview of the scale of the problem, its consequences and costs, risk and protective factors for intimate partner and sexual violence, and the importance of intimate partner and sexual violence primary prevention strategies.
This course is designed for individuals actively engaged in prevention of child maltreatment, either in developing policies or implementing prevention programmes.
It is also relevant to those providing financial support for intimate partner and sexual violence prevention programmes as well as individuals working in criminal justice, emergency departments, shelters and outreach.
