A ground-breaking community-led development pilot programme has dramatically reduced poverty indicators in a Bangladesh community.
Bangladesh is now the third most urbanized country in South Asia. More than a quarter of its 46 million people now live in urban areas and are concentrated in four cities; of these people, one in five live below the poverty line.
