2014 Fiji Election in figures – A woman’s place is in the House of Parliament

Since last year’s Fiji elections, women have taken a stronger role in Fiji’s government. Although improvements have been made, continued support and advocacy for women’s political participation is necessary for further development. IWDA’s Funding Leadership Opportunities for Women initiative supports women’s rights organisations in Fiji to drive women’s political engagement.
